Much of what we do is subject to individual circumstances.  For instance, the removal of an average size (1/2 inch or 1.5 cm) non-infected sebaceous cyst on the back:

In the office setting, should be $400 plus a separate charge of $53 that goes with the specimen for pathologic evaluation. That would include your post-op visit(s) for suture removal and evaluation. Pathology results are available usually within 2-3 days.

In a surgery center, assuming the cyst is larger, our fee would start at $700. Typical facility fees would be around $1500-1800 to include the OR time, anesthesia, materials, and pathology.

As you can see, there are many factors which can influence your costs. We will give you the fees that apply to your evaluation at the time of your consult.
Having said that, there are some fees we use as the standard for our office.

Office:

New Patient Office Visit: $ 250
Established Patient Visit: $ 85 – $125
Punch Biopsy, anywhere  $ 200 + path
I & D or Excision, any benign lesion  $ 400 – $ 800+ path
    **management of malignant lesions may have higher pathology costs depending on the need for additional testing.
Chemical Peel each treatment $ 125

Spider Vein Ablation 20 minute session $ 249

 

Prices quoted below include physician, facility, anesthesia, pathology, and materials. Effective April, 2017.
Malignant lesions will cost another $500 for the additional pathological testing not quoted here.
